Located in Lac La Biche Alberta; the 1st Lakeland Scout Group has been providing quality Scouting programs for more than 40 years.

We are a group that is located in North Eastern Alberta (Canada). We are  part of the Northern Lights Council, in the Whispering Lakes Area.

We offer well developed challenging programs for boys, girls, and young adults aged 5-26 that not only provide fun for the Scouter, but ingrain important life skills such as sharing, doing one’s best, being prepared, challenging both one’s self and others; and offering service to others.

Our Team

We have alot of Great Scout leaders - We are Thankful for all they do..  They are planning many fun activities for us , and inform parents of what program work they are doing.

The Cubs and Scouts work on Interest Badges that they enjoy - to collect badges for their collection.

By the time you are in Scouts and Ventures, you are able to help with the planning. You are also able to do some fundraising to be able to do trips to participate in camps such as Canadian Jamberees (Nova Scotia in 2017) or World Jamberees. (Viginia 2019)

Our Mission

To provide effective and high-quality fun activities  for members of Lakeland Scouts,  through the development of the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of all youth.
